Matt’s Small Engine Repair is a unique small engine shop located in St. Anthony, that provides repair and service to small engine powered equipment. Four years old and growing rapidly, Matt’s is looking to hire someone awesome for part time work, up to 25 hrs a week.

What’s The Job??

First off, I do not care if you have any knowledge of small engines and equipment. I can train you that stuff. What I am looking for is someone who is awesome with people, loves working for small businesses, works hard, wants to do good in the world, and is looking for a fun place to work.

This Person Is Going To:

Wow customers, work with cool people, smile a lot, contribute growth to the business, give input and advice, have fun at their job, sometimes have a hard day, lift heavy stuff, have weird projects to complete, and more.

More Specifically:

I am looking for someone who will run the front of the shop and during downtime, help out in the shop. That means….

Helping customers and giving them only the best, advising and selling to customers, answering phone calls, responding to emails, cashiering, lifting customers heavy equipment, organizing and cleaning, taking ownership of the front of the shop, giving their input on how things can work better, answering more questions and giving good industry advice, getting tasked with some weird project Matt wants done, probably some more cleaning here and there, organizing here and there too.

The one thing that I wont have you do is clean the bathroom, EVER!

Pay and Other Deets:

Pay is negotiable, fair, and honest. I pay based on your experience and effort

This is W-2 employment

Part Time with some seasonal fluctuation. (Don’t worry, it’s part time, but hours may be reduced when we are in the “between seasons”)

Hours – Flexible scheduling

The shop is open Tue-Sat 10-3 and these will be 5 hour shifts. Looking for 15-25 hours a week. Tuesdays and Saturdays needed but flexible.

All holidays (that YOU recognize as a holiday) are off.

Sorry, no benefits

Electronic deposit, paid every two weeks
